In 1987 I visited the USA and hat the strange opportunity to visit the USS Enterprise with the Carrier Goup 10 (CVW-10). CVW-10 was only one year active with its squadrons. The USS Enterprise was some day in the harbor from Seattle WA.
Aussergewöhnlich ist nicht nur die Tatsache auf einem Träger der US Navy zu sein sondern ach der Umstand eine Trägergruppe (CVW-10) vor die Linse zu bekommen die nur ca. 1. Jahr existierte. Die Gelegenheit hatte ich per Zufall im August 1987 in Seattle WA. als die USS Enterprise für einige Tage dort festmachte.
