Der EuroAirport im Dreiländereck wurde schon immer ein wenig als kleiner Regional-Flughafen belächelt. Ich denke, eigentlich zu unrecht!

Sicherlich, wir haben kaum eine Passagier Langstrecken Verbindung nach Übersee, auch starten und landen bei uns keine „Widebody’s“ im Minutentakt wie in Zürich, Genf oder anderen europäischen Großflughäfen; … aber wir haben einiges im Regionalverkehr, Cargo und VIP Sektor zu bieten. 

Unangefochtener Platzhirsch auf dem EuroAirport ist wohl EasyJet mit gut 45% des Passagieraufkommens und Flugbewegungen, gefolgt von  Air France, Swiss, Lufthansa, Air Berlin und British Airways. Aber auch die Fracht Airlines wie Korean Air Cargo, Southern Air, Farnair Europe und FedEX sind Stammgäste am EuroAirport. 

Dank einigen der renommiertesten VIP-Flugzeugausstatter der Welt, die auch am EuroAirport ihre Unterhaltsbetriebe haben, ist Basel allemal für kleine wie grosse Überraschungen im Bereich der BIZ-Jets bekannt. 

Die BIZ-Jets werden wir jedoch in einem späteren Bericht aus Basel unter die Lupe nehmen. Gerne stellen wir Ihnen in der heutigen Foto-Reportage diejenigen Airlines und Frachtgesellschaften vor, die sich regelmäßig mit:
