After the Gulf War in Iraq, the former state airline slowly recovered and replaced in small increments its outdated fleet (if still available) by modern aircraft such as the Airbus A321.
Iraqi Airways serves, among other destinations, also the Frankfurt airport, where the Airbus A321-231, YI-AGR was seen during final approach. This aircraft was flying till November 2012 as D-ANJB with Blue Wings airlines.		 Nach dem Golfkrieg im Irak konnte sich die ehemalige Staatsairline nur langsam wieder erholen und in kleinen Schritten ihre überalterte Flotte (wenn überhaupt noch vorhanden) durch modernes Fluggerät wie dem Airbus A321 ersetzen. Iraqi Airways bedient, unter anderem, auch den Frankfurter Flughafen; hier mit dem Airbus A321-231, YI-AGR. Diese Maschine war bis im November 2012 als D-ANJB bei Blue Wings im Einsatz.

It just was delivered in July 2013 to British Airways and is the first Airbus A380-841, G-XLEA of further A380 to come.
Before the aircraft is used on the long-haul network ofBA, it still follow some intra-European short haul destinations which are intended to "route proofing".
Thus, the G-XLEA landed on 2nd August 13 at 09:15 am, inbound from London Heathrow, arriving the first time at the Frankfurt airport.		 Erst im Juli 2013 erhielt British Airways ihren ersten Airbus A380-841, G-XLEA ausgeliefert.
Bevor die Maschine auf dem Langstreckennetz von BA eingesetzt wird, folgen noch einige innereuropäische Kurzstreckendestinationen die dem „Routeproofing“ dienen sollen.
So landete die G-XLEA am 2. August 13 um 09:15h aus London-Heathrow kommend, erstmals auf dem Frankfurter Flughafen.
