Der übliche Verkehr der
BIZ-Jets hielt sich dieses Jahr wohl in Grenzen. Wenig neues aber viele
alte Bekannte. Der Sektor der Regierungsflieger hatte dann doch wohl
einige Überraschungen für uns Spotters bereit. Noch nie hatten wir so
viele „Government-Jets“ wie in dieser Woche vor Ort; seltene Exponate
damit eingeschlossen. |

Nebst den Iranern und den Israelis gab es jedoch, „vor allem auf den Nachttouren“, einige weitere Highlights zu sehen. So waren die beiden B747-400 der Japan Air Self Defence vor Ort, aber auch die Boeing 767 der Azerbaijan Regierung in brandneuer Bemalung war in Zürich anzutreffen. Von „Down Under“ zeigte sich eine Boeing 737-BBJ, eine A330-200 der Regierung von Kazakhstan und die farbenfrohe A319 der Republique du Senegal; so wie eine Boeing 757 und ERJ-190 der mexikanischen Regierung. Weitere „Highlights“ des WEF-2014 waren:

Wie in den Jahren zuvor
organisierte das Unternehmen BuchAIR Tours in Zusammenhang mit der
Flughafens Zürich AG, die beliebten „Ramp-Tours“ für die vielen Spotter
aus dem In- und Ausland.So wurden auch dieses Jahr drei Nachttouren
organisiert die innert kürzester Zeit ausverkauft waren. Das gleiche
galt auch für die schon legendären Tagestouren. |
