Dassault Alpha Jet A

The Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet is a light attack jet and advanced jet trainer co-manufactured by Dassault Aviation of France and Dornier Flugzeugwerke of Germany. It was developed specifically to perform trainer and light attack missions, as well as to perform these duties more ideally than the first generation of jet trainers that preceded it. Following a competition, a design submitted by a team comprising Breguet Aviation, Dassault Aviation, and Dornier Flugzeugwerke, initially designated as the TA501, was selected and subsequently produced as the Alpha Jet. Both the French Air Force and German Air Force procured the Alpha Jet in large numbers, the former principally as a trainer aircraft and the latter choosing to use it as a light attack platform.
Der Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet ist ein leichter Angriffsjet und fortschrittlicher Jet-Trainer, der gemeinsam von Dassault Aviation aus Frankreich und den Dornier Flugzeugwerken aus Deutschland hergestellt wird. Es wurde speziell entwickelt, um Trainer- und leichte Angriffsmissionen durch-zuführen und diese Aufgaben idealer zu erfüllen als die erste Generation von Jet-Trainern, die ihm vorausging. Nach einem Wettbewerb wurde ein von einem Team aus Breguet Aviation, Dassault Aviation und Dornier Flugzeugwerken eingereichtes Design, das ursprünglich als TA501 bezeichnet wurde, ausgewählt und anschliessend als Alpha Jet produziert. Sowohl die französische als auch die deutsche Luftwaffe beschafften den Alpha Jet in grosser Zahl, erstere hauptsächlich als Schulflug-zeug, letztere als leichte Angriffsplattform.

The plane is designated Attackplane No. 7 (BJ.7 บจ.๗).
Die Maschine wird als Angrffsflugzeug No. 7 (BJ.7 บจ.๗) bezeichnet.
The Alpha Jet is only used by the 231 Sqn "Hunters" in Udon Thani. All the planes are former german jets.
The Alpha Jet's where called BJ-7 (Attackplane No. 7) in the RTAF. Between 2005 and 2006 all planes were equipped with chaff and flare dispensers at the tail of the plane.
Die Alpha Jet wird nur von der 231 Staffel "Hunters" in Udon Thani verwendet. Die Maschinen sind frühere Jets der deutschen Luftwaffe.
Die Alpha Jets erhielten die Bezeichnung BJ-7 (Angriffsflugzeug Nr. 7) in der RTAF. Zwischen 2005 und 2006 wurden alle Maschinen mit Düppelwerfern im Heck ausgerüstet.
