Bell 412
Entwicklung
The Bell 412 is a twin-engine utility helicopter of the Huey / Iroquois family manufactured by Bell Helicopter. It is a development of the Bell 212, with the major difference being the composite four-blade main rotor. Development began in the late 1970s with two Bell 212s being converted into 412 prototypes. An advanced four-blade main rotor with a smaller diameter replaced the 212's two-blade rotor. The Bell 412 prototype first flew in August 1979.
Die Bell 412 ist ein zweimotoriger Mehrzweck-hubschrauber der Huey / Iroquois-Familie von Bell Helicopter. Es ist eine Weiterentwicklung der Bell 212, wobei der Hauptunterschied der Vierblatt-Hauptrotor ist. Die Entwicklung begann in den späten 1970er Jahren mit zwei Bell 212, die in 412 Prototypen umgewandelt wurden. Ein fortschrittlicher Vierblatt-Hauptrotor mit einem kleineren Durchmesser ersetzte den Zweiblatt-Rotor der 212. Die Bell 412 Prototyp flog erstmals im August 1979.

Einsatzgeschichte
From 2005 onwards, the then Maha Vajiralongkorn used two Bell 412 EP helicopters as his personal aircraft. Both have a special, rather civil appearance.
Von 2005 an nutzte der damalige Maha Vajiralongkorn zwei Bell 412 EP als persönliche Hubschrauber. Beide haben einen speziellen eher zivilen Anstrich.
