 The Cessna 310 is an American four-to-six-seat, low-wing, twin-engined monoplane produced by Cessna between 1954 and 1980. It was the first twin-engined aircraft that Cessna put into production after World War II. The 310 first flew on January 3, 1953 with deliveries starting in late 1954. The sleek modern lines of the new twin were backed up by innovative features such as engine exhaust thrust augmenter tubes and the storage of all fuel in tip tanks in early models. The first significant upgrade to the 310 series was the 310C in 1959, which introduced more powerful 260 hp Continental IO-470-D engines. In 1960 the 310D featured swept back vertical tail surfaces. An extra cabin window was added with the 310F. In 1964, the engine exhaust was changed to flow under the wing instead of the augmenter tubes, which were considered to be noisy.  

Die Cessna 310 ist ein amerikanischer vier-bis sechssitziger, zweimotoriger Eindecker, der zwischen 1954 und 1980 von Cessna produziert wurde. Es war das erste zweimotorige Flugzeug, das Cessna nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in Produktion brachte. Die 310 wurde am 3. Januar 1953 zum ersten Mal geflogen, die Auslieferung begann Ende 1954. Die schlanke, moderne Linienführung des neuen Zweimotorere wurde durch innovative Merkmale wie Triebwerksabgas-Schubverstärkerrohre und die Treibstofftanks in an den Flügelspitzen. Das erste bedeutende Verbesserung der 310-Serie war der 310C im Jahr 1959, die stärkere 260 PS starke Continental IO-470-D-Motoren hatte. Im Jahr 1960 wurde mit der 310D das gepfeilte Seitenleitwerk eingeführt. Ein zusätzliches Kabinenfenster wurde mit der 310F hinzugefügt. Im Jahr 1964 wurde der Motor Abgasanlage verändert, unter dem Flügel verlegt, die als geräuschvoll angesehen wurde.
