700X NAS was the IFTU (Intensiv Flying Training Unit) for the Supermarine Scimitar and later for the Saro P.531 (Westland Wasp).
Today
700X NAS ( X for Xperimental) will be at the vanguard of the Fleet Air Arm’s venture into the world of unmanned flight with ‘eyes in the sky’ pilotless aircraft.
