The Beechcraft Bonanza is an American general aviation aircraft introduced in 1947 by Beech Aircraft Corporation of Wichita, Kansas. The six-seater, single-engined aircraft is still being produced by Beechcraft and has been in continuous production longer than any other aircraft in history.More than 17,000 Bonanzas of all variants have been built, produced in both distinctive V-tail and conventional tail configurations; early conventional-tail versions were marketed as the Debonair.

Designed by a team led by Ralph Harmon, the model 35 Bonanza was a relatively fast, low-wing, all-aluminum design, at a time when most light aircraft were still made of wood and fabric.[citation needed] The Model 35 featured retractable landing gear, and its signature V-tail. The prototype 35 Bonanza made its first flight on 22. December 1945.

The Bonanza family eventually comprised three major variants:

• Model 35 Bonanza 1947–1982; (V-tail)

• Model 33 Debonair or Bonanza 1960–1995 (conventional tail)

• Model 36 Bonanza 1968–present (a stretched Model 33)

Die Beechcraft Bonanza ist ein amerikanisches Flugzeug der allgemeinen Luftfahrt, das 1947 von der Beech Aircraft Corporation in Wichita, Kansas, eingeführt wurde. Das sechssitzige, einmotorige Flugzeug wird immer noch von Beechcraft produziert und war länger als jedes andere Flug-zeug in der Geschichte in kontinuierlicher Produktion. Mehr als 17.000 Bonanzas aller Vari-anten wurden gebaut, sowohl mit markantem V-Leitwerk als auch mit konventionellem Leitwerk Konfigurationen; frühe Versionen mit konventionel-lem Heck wurden als Debonair vermarktet.
Das Modell 35 Bonanza wurde von einem Team unter der Leitung von Ralph Harmon entworfen und war ein relativ schnelles, vollständig aus Aluminium bestehendes Tiefdeckerdesign zu einer Zeit, als die meisten Leichtflugzeuge noch aus Holz und Stoff bestanden Einziehfahrwerk und sein charakter-istisches V-Leitwerk. Der Prototyp 35 Bonanza absolvierte seinen Erstflug am 22. Dezember 1945.
Die Bonanza-Familie umfasste schließlich drei Hauptvarianten:

• Modell 35 Bonanza 1947–1982; (V-Leitwerk)

• Modell 33 Debonair oder Bonanza 1960–1995 (konventionelles Heck)

• Modell 36 Bonanza 1968 - heute (ein gestrecktes Modell 33)

Einsatzgeschichte

1948 the RTN was supplied with three Beech 35 Bonanza. The planes where used for communi-cation durty. After the failed coup d'etat of 1951 (Manhattan coup) the planes where transferred to the RTAF. One of the three Beech went however into private hands.

1948 wurden drei Beech  35 Bonanza an die Royal Thai Navy geliefert. Die Beech dienten als Verbindungsmaschinen. Nach dem Misslungenen Staatsstreich von 1951 (Manhattan-Coup) mussten die Maschinen an die RTAF abgegeben werden. Eine der drei Beech ging jedoch in private Hände.
