The VFW-Fokker 614 was a twin-engined jetliner designed and constructed by West German aviation company VFW-Fokker.

It was originally intended as a Douglas DC-3 replacement; its most distinctive feature was that its engines were mounted in pods on pylons above the wing. The VFW 614 was produced in small numbers during the early- to mid-1970s by VFW-Fokker, a company resulting from a merger between VFW and the Dutch aircraft company Fokker. Shortly after the VFW 614's entry to service, it had become clear that sales had fallen far short of expectations. However, the program was officially cancelled in 1977, the anticipated sales and thus production having not been achieved.

Die VFW-Fokker 614 war ein zweimotoriger Jetliner, der vom westdeutschen Luftfahrt-unternehmen VFW-Fokker entworfen und gebaut wurde.
Sie war ursprünglich als Ersatz der Douglas DC-3 gedacht; Das auffälligste Merkmal war, dass die Motoren in Gondeln auf Pylonen über dem Flügel montiert waren. Der VFW 614 wurde Anfang bis Mitte der 1970er Jahre in kleinen Stückzahlen von VFW-Fokker hergestellt, einem Unternehmen, das aus einer Fusion zwischen VFW und dem niederländischen Flugzeughersteller Fokker hervorgegangen war. Kurz nach der Inbetriebnahme der VFW 614 war klar geworden, dass der Umsatz weit hinter den Erwartungen zurückgeblieben war. Das Programm wurde jedoch 1977 offiziell eingestellt, da der erwartete Umsatz und damit die Produktion nicht erreicht worden waren.
