Wo das Meer ist, ist oftmals die U.S. Navy nicht weit. Die Amerikaner hatten früher die Angewohnheit Besucher auf ihre Träger zu lassen. Nun sicherlich machen sie dies heute auch noch doch in der 90er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts ging dies noch ohne jegliche Kontrolle. So kam ich (Michael Fader) 1990 dazu die USS Forrestal vor Cannes an der Côte d'Azur zu besichtigen.
