At this point, the report on the Royal Thai Air Force's Air Tactical Operations Evaluation 2026, which was scheduled for 27 November 2025, should have appeared. Unfortunately, however, this year's edition had to be postponed or cancelled because the RTAF had to provide assistance in southern Thailand.

Doch leider musste die diesjährige Ausgabe verschoben oder abgesagt werden, da die RTAF Hilfeleistungen in den Süden von Thailand machen musste.

A cyclone and days of heavy
rain have caused severe damage in southern Thailand. Thailand's
government spokesman said in Bangkok that people had died in a total of
eight provinces as a result of the flooding. In Songkhla province alone,
there have been 110 deaths so far. He said that search and rescue
operations were now more successful because the floodwaters were
receding in many areas. Around one million households and more than 2.7
million people have been affected by the record floods in twelve
provinces of the country.
The situation was particularly bad in Hat Yai, the largest city in
southern Thailand, where roads were impassable and low-lying houses and
cars had almost completely disappeared under the water.
Ein Zyklon und tagelanger
Starkregen haben den Süden Thailands stark verwüstet. Thailands
Regierungssprecher sagte in Bangkok, in insgesamt acht Provinzen seien
Menschen wegen der Überflutungen gestorben. Allein in der Provinz
Songkhla habe es nach bisherigem Stand 110 Tote gegeben. Weil sich das
Hochwasser in vielen Gebieten zurückziehe, verliefen die Such- und
Rettungseinsätze inzwischen erfolgreicher, sagte er. Rund eine Million
Haushalte und mehr als 2,7 Millionen Menschen seien von den Rekordfluten
in zwölf Provinzen des Landes betroffen.
Besonders schlimm war die Lage in Hat Yai, der grössten Stadt
Südthailands, wo Strassen unpassierbar und niedrige Häuser und Autos
fast komplett unter dem Wasser verschwunden sind.

The disaster relief centre
is located in the RTAF museum in Don Mueang district and serves as a hub
for receiving and distributing relief supplies, primarily for flood
victims in southern Thailand. It was set up to coordinate donations of
relief supplies and other assistance, which are then transported to the
affected areas by RTAF aircraft.
Due to the volume of relief supplies, only about one-third are
transported to the south by air freight. The remaining relief supplies
are transported to the south by military trucks, conventionally by road.
The final distribution is then carried out by RTAF helicopters (H-135 &
EC725) and Royal Thai Navy helicopters.
Das Katastrophenhilfezentrum
befindet sich im Museum der RTAF im Bezirk Don Mueang und dient als
Drehscheibe für die Annahme und Verteilung von Hilfsgütern, vorwiegend
für die Flutopfer in Südthailand. Es wurde eingerichtet, um Spenden von
Hilfsgütern und anderer Unterstützung zu koordinieren, die anschließend
mit Flugzeugen der RTAF in die betroffenen Gebiete transportiert werden.
Aufgrund des Umfanges der Hilfsgüter werden nur ca. ein Drittel per
Luftfracht in den Süden gebracht. Die weiteren Hilfsgüter werden mit
Militärlastern, konventionell auf der Strasse in den Süden gebracht. Die
Feinverteilung wird dann durch Hubschrauben der RTAF (H-135 & EC725)
sowie Hubschraubern der Royal Thai Navy übernommen.
