Paul is 74 years old (in 2026) and lives in Culemborg in the Netherlands. He is married, has two daughters aged 31 and 33, and used to work in the administration department of Nijmegen City Council. He completed his compulsory military service with the Air Force as an air traffic controller. Since then, he has been interested in aviation and is very well-read on the subject.
For around 25 years, he has been collecting drawings and profiles (side views) of aircraft. For several years now, he has been producing his own drawings, primarily of torpedo bombers from the U.S. Navy and other navies around the world, dating from 1920 to 1945.

In recent years, he has published two books on the Dutch Navy and torpedo bombers.

Seine Wehrpflicht leistete bei der Luftwaffe als Flug-Controller ab. Seit dieser Zeit interessiert er sich für die Aviatik und ist sehr belesen.
Seit ungefähr 25 Jahren sammelt er Zeichnungen oder Profile (Seitenansichten) von Flugzeugen. Seit einigen Jahren macht er selbst Zeichnungen, vor allem von Torpedoflug-zeugen zwischen 1920-1945 der U.S. Navy und anderen Marinen der Welt.

In den letzten Jahren hat er zwei Bücher über die Holländische Marine und Torpedoflugzeuge publiziert.
