Entwicklung
The Eurocopter EC-175 is a
super medium utility helicopter produced today by Airbus Helicopters. On
17 December 2009, the EC175 prototype made its maiden flight at
Marignane, France. A two-year delivery delay was encountered, partly due
to certification issues with the rotorcraft's Helinix avionics suite. By
May 2015, the EC175 had been certified for single-pilot operations under
visual flight rules (VFR).
The EC175 is built for civilian and parapublic applications, its primary
markets being support of the oil and gas industry and search and rescue
missions. Other applicable roles include parapublic operations, homeland
security, air medical services, utility missions and corporate
transportation.

super mittelgrosser Mehrzweckhubschrauber, der heute von Airbus Helicopters
produziert wird. Am 17. Dezember 2009 absolvierte der Prototyp EC175 seinen
Erstflug in Marignane, Frankreich. Es kam zu einer zweijährigen
Lieferverzögerung, teilweise aufgrund von Zertifizierungsproblemen mit der
Helinix-Avionik des Drehflüglers. Bis Mai 2015 war die EC175 für den
Einzelpilotenbetrieb nach Sichtflugregeln (VFR) zugelassen.
Die EC175 wurde für zivile und halbstaatliche Anwendungen entwickelt, wobei
seine Haupt-märkte die Unterstützung der Öl- und Gasindustrie sowie Such-
und Rettungsmissionen sind. Andere anwendbare Rollen umfassen halbstaatliche
Opera-tionen, Heimatschutz, Luftmedizinische Dienste, Versorgungsmissionen
und Unternehmenstrans-porte.
