Entwicklung
In 1921 the US Navy purchased three Fokker C.I from the Dutch Fokker factory. Actually these had been build in Germany at the close of WW I and had been taken into Holland when Fokker returned to his native land and established a new company.
Im Jahre 1921 kaufte der US Navy drei Fokker C.I von den niederländischen Fokker-Werken. Eigentlich waren es in Deutschland am Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs gebaute Maschen die nach Holland gebracht wurden als Fokker zurück in seine Heimat ging und eine neue Gesellschaft gründete.

Einsatzgeschichte
The Fokker C.I was in use only by the U.S. Marines at Quantico Virgina.
Die Fokker C.I wurde nur von den U.S. Marines auf den Stützpunkt Quantico Virginia verwendet.
