  RNAS Abbotsinch, Renfrewshire, Scotland / HMS Sanderling 1943 - 1963 -

Used by FAA from 1939 and commissioned on a lodger basis 19. June 1940. Transferred from RAF No.17 Group 9. August 1943 and commissioned as HMS Sanderling 20. September 1943.

Its main functions were Reserve Aircraft Storage and an RN Aircraft Maintenance Yard.

Reconstructed between 1950 and November 1952. Paid off  31. October 1963 and transferred to Ministry of Civil Aviation. It is now known as Glasgow International.
